Sweco AB’s shares have been traded on Nasdaq Stockholm since 21 September 1998. Sweco AB’s total market capitalisation at 31 December 2016 was SEK 22,259 million (14,926). Share capital totalled SEK 122 million, divided between 10,533,731 class A shares, 109,550,088 class B shares and 900,000 class C-shares.
The class A shares carry one vote and the class B and class C shares 1/10 of one vote. The class A and class B shares carry equal entitlement to dividends. The class C shares were issued following a decision at the annual general meeting in 2016, are not listed and do not entitle to dividend. The purpose of the class C-shares are, following conversion into class B-shares, to enable the company to deliver shares to the employees that are comprised by the Share bonus scheme 2016.
Sweco AB had 14,358 shareholders at year-end 2016. The three largest shareholders are the Nordström family (with 13.5 per cent of the share capital and 32.3 per cent of the votes), Investment AB Latour (with 26.7 per cent of the share capital and 20.8 per cent of the votes) and the J. Gust. Richert Memorial Foundation (with 1.7 per cent of the share capital and 9.2 per cent of the votes). Foreign investors held 19.9 per cent of the share capital and 11.3 per cent of the votes. Together, the ten largest shareholders control the equivalent of 62.8 per cent of the share capital and 74.9 per cent of the votes.
