Galileo on the road

Sweco is involved in the GSC project. GSC stands for GNSS-enabled Service Convergence and the purpose is to exploiting the full potential of Galileo and EGNOS in a road sector mass market. GSC is a European project with a technical and business approach and the main focus is on how to exploit EGNOS and GALILEO to be used in a competitive mass market of converged GNSS-enabled services.

Sweco will, in cooperation with the Swedish Road Administration, conduct field trials in the south of Sweden aiming at validating user perception and impact of the concept for GNSS-enabled services. Sweco will deliver deployment analyses for user acceptance, interoperability and business model.
