ITS Test Platform

A cooperative project between the Swedish Road Administration (project sponsors), the Royal Institute of Technology and Sweco was established for the development of a simulation-based ITS test platform.

At present, the test platform incorporates and emulates many of the logic components implemented in the Stockholm Motorway Control System (MCS). The test platform aims to provide a toolbox of ITS-functions that can be configured and tested in a safe traffic simulation environment to evaluate the impact of different scenarios and control strategies.
