Business Controller to Sweco IT

We are now seeking an innovative and committed Business controller to play a vital role to deliver cost-efficient operation and improved finance performance.
Your role
You will be part of a controller group that is responsible for the financial follow-up for Sweco’s entire IT cost. The IT organization consists of about 315 employees, including 30 managers with whom you will have a lot of contact. In addition to traditional controller tasks, you will also be involved in various business cases and various changes that may arise in connection with the continuous procurements and acquisitions made by Sweco. Your main tasks will include:
- Quality assurance, follow-up and budgeting of IT costs
- Assist the IT managers with reporting, analyses and follow-up against budget and forecasts monthly
- Assist the CIO and IT leadership-team with strategic work
- Financial follow-up of internal IT projects
- Transfer pricing and allocation of IT costs within the Group
- Work with suppliers, licenses and agreements linked to these
- Work with investment calculations and pricing models
- Continuous improvement and development work for increased efficiency and clarity
The role is located at our office in Stockholm and with possibilities to hybrid work setup.
We believe that you have:
- Experience in understanding business control, financial planning and analysis
- A couple of years’ experience as business controller or similar positions, preferable within an IT organization
- Strong written and verbal skills in English
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is highly valued
- Relevant University education in economics or equivalent

In addition, you are able to challenge and drive performance in a constructive manner whilst having a pedagogic mindset with ability to tailor message to the audience.
